Scholarships

The Idaho Health Care Association Foundation (IHCAF) earned 501(c)(3) nonprofit status as recognized by the IRS in June, 2008.
Mission: The Idaho Health Care Association Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for individuals aspiring to work or currently working in Idaho care facilities.

One of the priority objectives includes:
Promote careers in long term care by awarding scholarships to those seeking employment in Assisted Living, Intermediate Care Facilities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

2019 Scholarship Application (only one application needed):

• Award Delta Holloway Scholarship (up to $1,500)
• Award Dorothy Witmer Scholarship (up to $1,500)
• Award Sheri Rogers Scholarship (up to $1,500)

Note: The scholarship applications are due May 31st.

IDAHO CNA Grant

CNA Grants
The Idaho CNA Grant program supports people who want to earn their certified nursing assistant certificate but cannot afford to go to school full time. A student can get their education paid by their employer, along with getting paid for the hours they spend studying and being in class — just like being on the job. The sponsoring facility is then repaid by grant. It’s a win-win.
